Dear Diary, it was a very cold morning as we rode through the stormy rain on an old wooden boat. We were close to Gallipoli. All we had to eat was corned beef and peas. The Turkish soldiers had cigarettes. But we knew that we had something to survive.

As we got closer and closer to Gallipoli. The Turkish soldiers came with cannons muskets snipers. We thought we were done but all we had to do was believe in ourselves. As we went to shore most of my friends died battling the turkish soldiers.

After we waited, the next day we had travelled 14 miles ahead. We found one of the turkish boats as we left. We went to different countries and we had found out we won the war me and my comrades were glad cause we almost lost to the Turkish. From:Henry herbert

For maths we learnt algorithm addition. Donyal and Blake helped me to create this poster to teach someone how to use the strategy.

LI : Learn more about the history of our whenua.

For Inquiry we are learning about our whenua.  Our class task was to research using our smart skills the history of the different street names. We had to research Matapan Road.  Here is our work.

Today we learned how to make wanted posters to day I liked this one because I did my wanted poster as luffy.

I enjoyed doing this poster because this is my favorite task yet.

I did well at doing this work because I had never done this before.

I worked on getting better and better at posters.
